Virtual tours and 3D models

360º Virtual Tours and 3D Models in Girona and Barcelona

Let your customers get to know your space before they visit. Tailor-made tours, with drone footage and built into your website.

What a virtual tour is and what it's for

A virtual tour is an interactive walk-through of a place, which opens on your phone or computer. I make them for estate agents, accommodation, venues and businesses all over Catalonia, based in Girona.

Virtual tour examples

A custom virtual tour, with drone footage and built into your website

A photo shows one corner. A tour lets you walk through the space before you go, and that builds trust and helps people decide.

Tailor-made

No templates. A menu by room, information at every point, contact buttons, video and your brand image.

With a drone

Location, surroundings, access and outdoor areas, seen from the air. See aerial photography.

How a virtual tour is made, step by step

It looks simple from the outside, but there are several technical steps behind it. I'll explain the main ones, with the terms you'll come across if you compare quotes.

Interior of a venue photographed in 360 degrees
01

Spherical capture in HDR

I take the 360º shots from fixed points, on a tripod. In interiors with windows I take several exposures per point (HDR), so that both the inside and what's outside look good.

02

Stitching and checking

Each shot is stitched into a 2:1 equirectangular image of 360º × 180º. I check the horizon, remove the tripod from the floor (nadir) and correct colour and lighting.

Link points and floor plan

I link the scenes with hotspots and add the room menu and an interactive floor plan. I can include text, photos, video, links and contact buttons.

3D model with a drone

From aerial photography I generate the 3D model by photogrammetry: point cloud, textured mesh and orthophoto. It's useful for showing the surroundings, the plots of land and the access.

Frequently asked questions about virtual tours

How much does a virtual tour cost?

It depends on the size of the space, how many rooms it has and whether it includes aerial imagery, a 3D model or custom branding. Tell me what you want to show and I'll send you a fixed proposal.

What's the difference between a 360º tour and a 3D model?

A 360º tour is an interactive walk-through between points in the space, with information, buttons and videos. A 3D model is a three-dimensional representation that helps you understand the layout and the dimensions. They complement each other and can be part of the same project.

Can the tour be built into my website?

Yes. I build it into your own page in a simple way, for example inside the listing for a property or next to the booking button. You can also share it with a link or send it to your customers.

Does it work on a mobile phone?

Yes, it works on mobile, tablet and computer without installing anything.

Are the tours based on a template?

No. Each tour is designed around your space, your brand and your goals: menus, information, contact buttons, video and aerial imagery.

How long does it take to be ready?

It depends on the size and the type of project. I'll give you a time in the proposal, before we start.

Do you work all over Catalonia?

Yes, I work all over Catalonia, based in Girona. If it's outside Catalonia, let's talk about it.

What kinds of spaces can be shown with a virtual tour?

Houses, farmhouses, hotels, campsites, restaurants, shops and premises, warehouses and facilities, among others.

Is a virtual tour useful for selling a property?

Yes. It can have its own cover page, information about the property, a menu by room, aerial imagery and direct contact, so that the property stands out.
